Joy has completed four units of clinical pastoral education. She has served as a clinical chaplain at:

• Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, PA

• Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC

• Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC.

  Joy has experience serving in trauma situations, death, birth, and all in between. Joy has served specifically in labor & delivery, NICU, PICU, and on the pediatric palliative care team.
