Walking with parishioners through grief is something all pastors will experience. The grief following pregnancy loss can be unexpected and complicated. In this one hour training we’ll discuss the various types of pregnancy loss and how to best care for parents who have lost children in the womb.

People on the autism spectrum are beautifully and wonderfully made by God. Many clergy who are not neurodivergent struggle to understand the complexities of a neurodivergent person. In this one hour training we’ll get a basic understanding of what Autism Spectrum disorder is and learn strategies to meet the needs of parishioners on the spectrum.

In youth and children’s ministry there are always kids who struggle to follow directions. Believe it or not, there is an excellent reason for this and together we can find a solution. In this one hour training you’ll learn the reasons behind a child’s behavior as well as strategies to help that child succeed.

James W. Fowler coined the 6 stages of faith development. By studying these stages we can better understand both ourselves and our parishioners. In this 1.5 hour training we’ll learn the 6 stages of faith, as well as how they play out in a persons life.

Many congregations have a heart for inclusion but don’t know where to start. This training is great for when you are at the beginning stages of starting an inclusive special needs ministry. We will learn strategies for inclusion, as well as get a basic biblical framework of what strategies Jesus used in his time. We will work together to train church staff and volunteers to serve persons with disabilities like Christ.

This training will be scheduled directly with the congregation.
